I agree with her.
Because Japanese don't speak English because they don't have confident of their English. Japanese always want to be perfect. Therefore, Japanese think that I don't speak English like a native speaker, so I can't speak English and foreigner can't understand my English.
Japanese is shy. Japanese don't insist very much. It is natural that Japanese seem to be quiet and low level of English in the meeting because they aren't used to speak their opinion even in Japanese.
I think it is good to learn English in an elementary school. Some of Japanese apprehensive that children can't master Japanse perfectly. But I think that in many country, pepole learn second language in the early stage, however, the people speak their mother togue perfectly and the second language. I think that the fear of Japanese is not needed.
I want children to learn English and to feel foreign cultures.

I agree with her. Japanese women want gifts like a ring or a necklace from their boyfriends. Because women always want to wear something that a boyfriend gives and women feel happy. So, I can understand men think that it costs money. But I didn't expect that because of that, men didn't want a girlfriend and didn't want a child. I want men to be generousity more and the birth rate will increase.

Class #10 Table Manners

I haven't eaten in a foreign restaurant. But when I have been in UK, my host mother told me about how to set the dishes while we prepared the meal. Because I made mistake the position of a spoon . Unfortunately, I cannot remember everything but she told that a fork is left side, a knife is right side and a spoon is the upper side of a plate, and the spoon head turn to ...??? I can't remember it.
I ate yorkshire pudding then. I enjoyed the meal.

Class #8 Homework

I haven't longed a big wedding. So, I think I wouldn't have a massive wedding.
If I can love somebody very very much and my parents oppose our marriage, I might elope with him. Maybe.
I think it is a good idea to have a wedding in foreign country but I want to have a recception in Japan.

My Ideal Wedding
I don' know because I think Japanese have a lot of different ways to have a wedding. Some of them have a wedding at church. Some of them have a wedding at shrine. And others have a wedding at a flower garden...

In My Wedding
I want to wear a white beautiful wedding dress, of course. I want to send a letter to my parents because I think my parents would be happy if I do so. I have no idea where I want to go to. I will think it in the future.

Superstitions Homework

I think it is important to talk about superstitions because I can know about other cultures more thruogh the superstitons and finding superstitions is interesting for me. Because I felt that some of superstitions were very strange.

Is communication affected by superstitions?
I don't think so because I don't talk as I think about superstitions.

I believe some of Japanese superstitions.
I believe that I shouldn't turn my head to north when I sleep. Because Japanese usually turn a dead person's head to north. I think it is sinister. I also believe that God of Izumo shrine grant our wishes for love. Because I often hear that people got lovers or husbands. So, I believe she satisfies us.

Homework#4

1. Time is money.
I think this proverb is very popular. This means that "you shouldn't miss a chance!". If you miss the chance, you couldn't get money. You have to fence the chance. In Japanese proverb, this is "Toki ha kane nari". I think so.

2. A stitch in time saves nine.
This means "it's better to do as soon as possible before it's too late." In Japanese proverb, this is "Korobanu saki no tue". I always think so but I always postpone to the last moment.

3. There's no time like the present.
This means " you should do now!" When I go shopping, I often think so. If I don't get it now, I would miss it!"

4. Fashionable late.
If you are in a miniskirt and wear boots with a thick sole, this style is very old-fashoned. Because this style became fashionable about 10 years ago in Japan and it died now.

Homework#3

Language of clothes

1. I judge people according to what they wear. Because If I meet uncommon style people, I would back away from these people.

2. I don't know well but I think tha Japanese society dosen't put an importance on clothing when judging other people from another country. Because I don't care about the clothing and I don't have the knowledge of clothing.

3. I'm wearing blue now. It reflects my mood because I'm working to the deadline now...

Friends

1. I don't pick up subjects which I don't understand. For example, there are about electronics, machanism of camera, and the giacial period.

2. Yes, I have a different friend for different parts of my life. She is Bulgarian and she paints pictuers. I haven't painted pictures for my hobby in my life and I am not interested in painting very much. We don't talk much about her painting but she always report getting a medal or prize to me. We always talk about the difference between Japan and Bulgaria because she is interested in Japanese culture very much and Im also interested in Bulgaria.
