I think it is important to talk about superstitions because I can know about other cultures more thruogh the superstitons and finding superstitions is interesting for me. Because I felt that some of superstitions were very strange.
Is communication affected by superstitions?
I don't think so because I don't talk as I think about superstitions.
I believe some of Japanese superstitions.
I believe that I shouldn't turn my head to north when I sleep. Because Japanese usually turn a dead person's head to north. I think it is sinister. I also believe that God of Izumo shrine grant our wishes for love. Because I often hear that people got lovers or husbands. So, I believe she satisfies us.

Homework#4
1. Time is money.
I think this proverb is very popular. This means that "you shouldn't miss a chance!". If you miss the chance, you couldn't get money. You have to fence the chance. In Japanese proverb, this is "Toki ha kane nari". I think so.
2. A stitch in time saves nine.
This means "it's better to do as soon as possible before it's too late." In Japanese proverb, this is "Korobanu saki no tue". I always think so but I always postpone to the last moment.
3. There's no time like the present.
This means " you should do now!" When I go shopping, I often think so. If I don't get it now, I would miss it!"
4. Fashionable late.
If you are in a miniskirt and wear boots with a thick sole, this style is very old-fashoned. Because this style became fashionable about 10 years ago in Japan and it died now.

Homework#3
Language of clothes
1. I judge people according to what they wear. Because If I meet uncommon style people, I would back away from these people.
2. I don't know well but I think tha Japanese society dosen't put an importance on clothing when judging other people from another country. Because I don't care about the clothing and I don't have the knowledge of clothing.
3. I'm wearing blue now. It reflects my mood because I'm working to the deadline now...
Friends
1. I don't pick up subjects which I don't understand. For example, there are about electronics, machanism of camera, and the giacial period.
2. Yes, I have a different friend for different parts of my life. She is Bulgarian and she paints pictuers. I haven't painted pictures for my hobby in my life and I am not interested in painting very much. We don't talk much about her painting but she always report getting a medal or prize to me. We always talk about the difference between Japan and Bulgaria because she is interested in Japanese culture very much and Im also interested in Bulgaria.

I'm sorry very much hearing your grandmother died. I just have been in your house for 1 month but I remember your grandmother's smile clearly. I miss her. I would like to go to her funeral but I couldn't. Please accept my condolences.
b. I haven't ever been to a foreign funeral.

Homework#1
1.The viewpoint of today's class was very interesting. I agree with it very much. Because Japanese people want to hide every thing. I think we do not like being seen from other people.
So, we wrap our house with wall or trees and hide our body in clothes.
One of "wrapping" is wrapping some money. Japanese people wrap some money in a lovely envelop and give it to them when their friends or somebody marry. But both of them know the sum in the envelop. Because Japanese people think no wrapping is vulgar. But this is my opinion.
2. a, I think I will go to heaven when I die but if I made bad things while I alived, I couldn't go to heaven. My soul just meander in this world.
b, Because we cannot forget and want to repay to a dead person. We believe that the dead person is happy to gather everyone. So, we have death memorial services.
